🏀 WINTER COMPETITION UPDATE 🏀

We’ve got an EXTRA WEEK up our sleeves! 🙌🔥

With an extra week available before the school holidays, we’ve decided to add ONE MORE ROUND before finals begin!

This gives teams one final opportunity to put themselves into finals contention, move up the ladder and secure their spot in the finals series. 💪🏀

The extra round applies to:

🏀 U17 Mixed
🏀 Women’s League
🏀 Men’s A Grade
🏀 U14 Boys
🏀 Men’s B Grade

🏆 MEN’S B GRADE FINALS

Men’s B Grade will be split into A Grade and B Grade final series:

🔥 TOP 4 → A Grade Finals
💪 5th–8th → B Grade Finals

So if you’re sitting anywhere around that 4th–8th position, there is EVERYTHING to play for!

That extra round could make all the difference! 🔥

📅 FINAL ROUND: Tuesday 8th & Thursday 10th September
🏆 FINALS: Tuesday 15th & Thursday 18th September
🏆 GRAND FINALS: Tuesday 22nd & Thursday 24th September

It’s time to start preparing for the 2027 Taree Tornadoes Representative season!

Please take note of the trial dates and age groups below. Importantly, any player wishing to trial for a 2027 Representative team MUST be attending the Taree Basketball Academy. 🏀

The Academy is an important part of our representative pathway and provides players with the opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and fitness in preparation for representative basketball.

We look forward to seeing our players on court and getting ready for another exciting Representative season! 🔥🏀

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported our fundraising efforts to help bring a Dr Dish to Taree Basketball. We’re excited to share that this amazing piece of equipment has officially arrived! 🙌🏀

The Dr Dish is a valuable addition giving our players an exciting new way to develop and improve their shooting, repetition, consistency and confidence.

This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our basketball community, and we are so grateful to everyone who got behind the fundraiser. Your support is helping us continue to invest in the development of our players, while providing them with new opportunities and equipment to help them improve.

Reminder there is no Academy this week Module three commences next Monday. We have had a few enquires all dates have been posted for term three modules.

ATTENTION ALL:

Tomorrow is the last day to get raffle tickets back to the club. The raffle will be drawn Wednesday morning. Please ensure all tickets are returned. Appreciate everyone’s assistance.
