U3A Bowls Program a Great Success at Club West

Club West was delighted to host a term of lawn bowls as part of the U3A calendar, with the program recently coming to an end.

It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic participants keen to learn more about the game and give bowls a try!

A huge thank you must go to our wonderful volunteers who generously gave their time to assist throughout the program. From Club West, thank you to Fay, Jean, Lorraine, Sue T, Kay and Lois. We also appreciate the support of our Old Bar volunteers, Julie, Val and Anne.

Without the dedication of volunteers like these, we wouldn't be able to introduce more people to the wonderful sport of bowls and showcase the friendly communities at both Club West and Club Old Bar.

Thank you again to everyone involved. We look forward to hopefully running another U3A bowls program sometime next year!
