Taree parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run / walk held at 8am every Saturday morning at 8am The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!
Parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Taree Parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful waterfront and get physically active in the process. Saturday 29th August. Event # 525. What a beautiful morning for 112 people to walk or run along the banks of the Manning River. We had 3 doing their first ever parkrun and some visitors from Newcastle. Well done everyone!
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, some taking on roles they hadn’t done before. A special thank you goes to Carolyn for tackling the volunteer photographer role for the first time. 😇📷
