Broadbeach Bowls Club social bowls Tuesday Triples winners - can you recognise some of these faces? 🤔🤩

Taroona Bowls Club will host a Winter Pairs Competition starting the first Saturday in July.

Format: Games will consist of 8 ends of 3 bowl pairs followed by 6 ends of 4 bowl cross-over pairs.

Eligibility: Open to all bowlers. i.e. open gender with teams being male, female or combined.

When: Each Saturday during winter starting first Saturday in July, 12:15 roll-up for 12:30 start.

Entry Fees: $10 per player. i.e. $20 per team payable each Saturday.

Prizes: Valuable prizes each week. First week likely to be a six pack or bottle of wine per winning player.

Hence it is time to organise your team and register your entry by either:
1. SMS Andy Nicholas on 0458 276 083
2. SMS Michael Saunders on 0448 698 984

Additional Notes
1. Registration of single players will be accepted. Pairs will be formed on the day of each match.
2. It will not be necessary to keep the same pairings from week to week as there will not be an overall competion winner determined.

This weekend we officially opened The Green at Taroona Bowls and Community Club, marking a fantastic milestone for our club and wider community.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this special occasion, and to all those who helped make this project a reality.

Special acknowledgement to Marcus Vermey MP for his outstanding support and leadership in helping secure State Government funding and championing this project from the beginning. Your commitment to our community has been invaluable.

Thank you also to our Board of Management and our volunteers for their tireless work behind the scenes to turn this vision into reality.

This new synthetic green is a real game changer—allowing year-round play, more opportunities for participation, and even stronger community connection.

We’re proud to see this project come to life and look forward to many great games and memories ahead on The Green.

Celebrating all our volunteers, not just for National Volunteers Week but for always! Too many to mention, but you know who you are. Thanks for keeping the Bowlo ticking. 🤩
