Huge congratulations to our own Ellie Dixon on her selection in the Giants Academy U13s Girls Super 24 squad! 🏉🔥

Ellie earned her spot after an outstanding performance in the Regional Championships. She’ll now hit the field for the GIANTS ACADEMY as they take on the Sydney Swans Academy this October.

This outstanding news tops off an already fantastic season where she finished fourth in the AFL Sapphire Coast Best & Fairest! It’s a well-deserved recognition for all Ellie’s hard work and dedication.

This Saturday, the Grand Final ended in heartbreak at the final siren. In a battle that had us on the edge of our seats, the boys fell just eight points short after leading for most of the match in an absolute nail-biter.

While the result isn’t what we dreamed of, the footy on display was nothing short of incredible. A massive shoutout to our own Oscar Power, who put on an absolute clinic and earned Best on Ground—a well-deserved nod for a phenomenal effort.

Congratulation to the Pambula Panthers, not just for the win in the senior men’s, but also taking home the trophy in the senior women’s and youth girls as well, while putting on a spectacular grand final day. Well done and well deserved.

To our amazing supporters who filled the sidelines with maroon and black, thank you. The support was phenomenal this weekend, truly the mark of a strong club.

And to our Senior Men’s team, we couldn’t be prouder of the heart, grit, and growth you showed this season. Getting to the grand final already surpassed all expectations anyone had of you, that you got so close is truly incredible. It’s lit a fire in the belly and we can’t wait to see where you take it in 2027!

Five weeks in, they had us written off. Sitting 0 from 5, underdogs, and underestimated. But they didn’t see what we saw: pure, untapped talent, a fierce inner drive, and a hunger that couldn’t be satisfied.

Through relentless work, sheer dedication, absolute need, and leadership that wouldn’t give up, these boys turned the tide. They wanted this spot, and good lord, they earned it.

Today, the Elders Real Estate Bega Bega-Tathra Kangaroos will walk onto the turf at Pambula as Grand Finalists.

No matter what happens when the siren blows, as a club and a community, we couldn’t be prouder of how these men have grown. Rip into them, boys—we’re cheering louder than ever!

Tomorrow night at 7pm, the cafe_evolve Under 17’s Kangaroos head down to Pambula Sporting Complex to take on the Merimbula Diggers under the big lights for the Grand Final! 🏆🦘
