After our last game of the season on Sunday, our Reserves co-coach, Nathan Sposato, advised that he will not be continuing on in season 2027.

For the last three seasons, Nathan has coached our Reserves alongside Jason McCormack and steered our team to play finals every single year.

Over the last decade, Nathan has also been an Assistant Coach amongst the senior group and a coach of our older juniors, helping to bridge the gap between junior and senior football.

On top of his coaching acheivements, Nathan played 149 games for our club starting in juniors and continuing on until the switch to coaching.

A loyal clubman through and through, we thank Nathan for his contributions on both sides of the fence and wish him all the best in football retirement as he spends time with his lovely young family.

It is exciting to realise that our expanding player numbers means we need more people - and it's even more exciting when people put their hand up to fill a need.

We welcome Joe Carland, to the newly created role of Junior Skills Coach for season 2027.

After a few years of coaching, Joe is passionate about developing the skills of individual players and providing additional support to our coaches to ensure that players can get the one-on-one skill development that they need, while allowing our coaches to train their teams.

We can't wait for season 2027, with Carly, Vicky, Stephen and Joe all on board to make our junior program the best it can possibly be and we thank them all for dedicating their time to the club.

The appointment of junior coaches will be taking place shortly, so everybody will be in place to get started on an exciting pre-season.

2027 will see Stephen Cadman continuing in the role of Junior Development.

He has done an outstanding job re-building our junior program over the last few years, which has seen our numbers continue to grow each year.

Stephen will continue to mentor our coaches, focussing on their development, which in-turn, provides benefits to our junior teams and players.

Stay tuned for one more annoucement, as we expand our junior department to reflect the growth in our junior numbers.
