The Men’s Triples Championship Final was successfully completed just before the rain began, allowing play to conclude without interruption.

Peter Gurney, Ron Green, and Brian Newberry defeated Mark Vollmer, Graham Uff, and Dave Ransome with a score of 29–14.

Although the final score suggests a clear margin, it does not fully reflect the competitive nature of the game. The match was closely contested, with both teams delivering strong performances. Spectators observed a high standard of play and appreciated the quality bowling displayed throughout.

Congratulations to Pat Baker, Karen Green, Sandra Leisemann and Lorraine Murphy on winning the Women’s Fours Final, defeating Bette Saillard, Jean Glover, Jane Uff and Lynda Richards 18–8.

Lynda bowled exceptionally well throughout the match, with many of her well-placed bowls unfortunately being knocked out of contention on numerous ends.

A very well-played game by the winners, and a determined effort by the runners-up. Well done to all ladies on a great final.

A very hearty congratulations to Tea Gardens Rookie Pairs representatives Les Smith & Craig MacDonald, who won their qualifying round on 27th September & yesterday 20th November played 3 games in the Greater Newcastle Bowls Rookie Pairs Qualifying Round, the boys played admirably, but on the day went down to Merimbula & Avoca Beach, but won against the highly favoured Wagga Wagga team.
