We’re excited to be hosting an upcoming Introduction to Teaching Little Athletics Skills (ITLAS) course right here at Tea Tree Gully! September 12!

This is a fantastic opportunity for parents, volunteers and anyone keen to become more involved to build confidence and learn the fundamentals of teaching athletics skills across the different events.

ITLAS is designed to give you practical skills and a great foundation for helping our young athletes. 🙌

The more people within our TTG community who have these skills, the more support we can provide our athletes throughout the season.

Whether you are a parent, volunteer, or new coach, this practical session will give you the essential tools and confidence to teach basic event skills effectively.

Course Details:
Date: Saturday, 12 September
Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Tea Tree Gully Athletics Club (Bulkana Oval, Spring Crescent, Banksia Park)
Cost: $85 per participant

Marley Raikiwasa take a bow!!

A week shy of 21, Marley absolutely showed she has a big future ahead of her as she took on a stacked competition and finished 6th.

Beyond the throws she executed a competition with a  cheeky flick of the ponytail and always a huge smile on her face.

We couldn’t be more proud and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.

A history-making Commonwealth Games debut 🇦🇺💥   At just 20 years old, Marley Raikiwasa threw the longest Australian throw in 38 years, and will be the first Australian in 12 years to compete in the Shot Put at the Commonwealth Games.   ⏰ Women’s Shot Put Final.
