Cross Country Season is Here!
Did you know that if you're already a registered Little Athletics member, you can keep competing through the winter Cross Country season?
Cross country is a great way to stay active, try something a little different, and stay connected with the club over winter. Events cater for a range of age groups - including Tiny Tots - so there's something for the whole family.
New to cross country? Unregistered athletes are welcome to join one meet as a Come & Try.
A $5 entry fee applies per athlete, per meet for club-hosted events.
To be eligible for the State Cross Country Championships, athletes need to compete in at least three meets during the season - so a great reason to get out there early!
For full meet details, locations, and further information, head to: https://salaa.org.au/winter-competitions/state-cross-country-championships/

Saturday night we had the privilege of presenting our nominees and award winners of the -
ππ€ Ivy Rose Hughes Spirit Award π€π
Ivy Rose Hughes was a cherished member of TTGLAC for many years, growing up within our centre. This award is inspired by the incredible person she was.
This award is presented in two categories:

The criteria for this award includes:

π Someone who is friendly, welcoming, caring, helpful and inclusive β bringing a βspecial somethingβ to everyone they meet
π Someone who, like Ivy Rose, leaves a lasting and positive impression on others
We had the honour of having Ivyβs mum, Paula and best friend Kyla present this very special award and we want to congratulate every nominee β so without further delay a big heartfelt congratulations to β¦
Our Club Adult Recipient β Jai Wain (our timing gates specialist)
Youβll see Jai each and every week setting up and running the straight track races, always with an encouraging smile on his face. The work he does behind the scenes also never goes unnoticed.

What an incredible turnout we had last night for our final Presentation Night of the 2025/26 Little Athletics season!
The rain held off just long enough for us to celebrate some amazing athletes as they received their medals, PB achievement certificates, and some very special, well-deserved trophies.
The evening rolled on with a glow stick disco, plenty of dancing, and lots of kids enjoying the oval with a few footballs β seeing all those happy faces is exactly why we do what we do.
All of us at TTG would like to sincerely thank everyone for coming along and sharing in such a special night of celebration.
A huge thank you to our Club President, Dale, for hosting the evening and, as always, doing an incredible job as our speaker. We also extend our thanks to all the families and committee members who helped with raffle prizes and setting up the disco β your efforts are truly appreciated.
We still have a number of awards and certificates at the club, so if you were unable to attend, please reach out via Messenger to arrange a time to collect them.
Once again, thank you to everyone for a fantastic season. We look forward to seeing you either throughout the Cross Country season or back on our home track next summer!
