Our 2026 ACHCo Surf & Turf is coming to Telegraph Point on Saturday 17th October, and this year we’ll be riding for BUCKLES!

Everyone is welcome to enter and compete in the events on the day - you do not need to have competed with us previously.

BUT… 👇

🏆 To be eligible to WIN a 2026 Surf & Turf Buckle, you must have competed at least once at one of our ACHCo shows earlier this year.

We wanted these buckles to recognise the riders who have supported our shows throughout 2026, while still keeping the competition open and welcoming to everyone.

So, to make it really clear:
🐎 Want to compete? Everyone is welcome!
🏆 Want to be eligible for a buckle? You must have competed at an ACHCo show earlier in 2026.

The programme is already out and we’re looking forward to finishing off a fantastic year of competition with a great day at Telegraph Point.

🐮 CATTLE WORKING DAY — SEPTEMBER 26TH 🐴

We’re opening the arena for a Cattle Working Day out of the herd, limited to the first 12 riders to secure their spot.

Each rider will:
🤠 Have 3 runs out of the herd
🐮 Work fresh cattle in a practical, relaxed environment
🎟️ Ride from draws

Saturday 26th September
$200 per rider
ONLY 12 SPOTS AVAILABLE

A great opportunity to get your horse on cattle, sharpen your skills and get plenty of time in the herd.

We’d love everyone to bring something to share so we can finish the day with a big country feed together!

📣 RIDER REMINDER – THIS SATURDAY!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone at our Mark Watt Cutting Horses Train & Compete Day this Saturday, 8 August, at Watt Family Farm.

⏰ The day kicks off at 9:00 am, so come on in, get settled and ready to ride.

☕ Morning tea and a BBQ lunch will be provided for all competitors.

For the past 10 years, Elders has been a valued supporter of ACHCo, backing our events, our competitors, and the growth of our sport. Have you attended a private lesson or training day with Mark Watt? Now it's time to put your skills into practice!

Join us for a full day of learning, fun and friendly competition.

🌟 Morning: Training Program with Mark Watt
Fine-tune your horsemanship and cattle work
Individual coaching and tips before competition
🏆 Afternoon Competition
Choose ONE event to compete in:
🐄 Boxing Event – Showcase your horse's ability to control a cow.
OR
🐂 Cutting Event – Put your cutting skills to the test by separating a cow from the herd.

This day is designed exclusively for riders who have previously trained with Mark through private lessons or training clinics, providing a relaxed and supportive environment to build confidence and gain competition experience.

💲 Cost
• $150 Training & Competition Entry
• $50 Cattle Hire Fee

📍 Venue: Watt Family Farm, Telegraph Point

Numbers are limited to ensure plenty of riding time and personalised coaching.
