👏 Thank You Coaches! 👏

A huge thank you to all the coaches who joined our SALT Positive Sports Coaching workshop on Tuesday night. It was fantastic to see coaches from across our Saturday clubs and representative programs coming together to learn, share ideas and further develop their coaching skills.

Led by Steve Listopad, the interactive session explored topics including positive coaching, building trust and respect, effective communication, creating inclusive environments, and supporting the unique needs of young athletes.

Coaches play such an important role in shaping positive sporting experiences, and thanks to the support of Community Bank Doncaster East & Templestowe Village, we were proud to offer this valuable professional development opportunity.

🏐 Weekly Rep Fixtures 🏐

It’s a huge week for our Manningham representative teams, with finals spots on the line and another Association Championship tournament just around the corner!

💙 Opens 2 Finals Campaign
Tonight, our Opens 2 team faces a must-win preliminary final against Melbourne University, with a place in next week's grand final up for grabs.

After a heartbreaking narrow loss last week, the girls will be hungry to bounce back and leave everything out on court. We know they'll come out firing and give it their all in pursuit of a grand final berth!

❤️ Junior Representative Teams
Meanwhile, our 13/U, 15/U and 17/U teams will wrap up their final rounds of the regular season at Waverley this week.

Our 17-3, 15-3 and 13-2 sides are all well positioned to make finals but with standings still tight, several matches will be make-or-break and will ultimately decide who progresses to the first week of finals.

💚 Association Championships
We also wish the best of luck to our Opens team competing at Association Championships this Sunday at Parkville. With a squad stacked full of talent, skill, and experience, we’re excited to see what they can produce against the state’s top competition.

We wish all of our players, coaches, team managers and supporters the very best for the week ahead. 🫶🙌

👑Long Weekend Reminder – No Games This Saturday! 👑

Just a friendly heads-up to our netball community — there will be no games this Saturday due to the King’s Birthday public holiday.

We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and maybe even a cheeky sleep-in 😴

👉 We’ll be back on court Saturday 13th June for our first round of finals!

👧 U9 & U11 teams — don’t forget, you’ll continue to play during the finals rounds.

🏐 Weekly Rep Fixtures 🏐

Finals begin tonight for our Open 2 Rep team as they head to Parkville to take on Maribyrnong Park in a do-or-die clash. If you're free this evening, rug up, brave the cold and get down to Court 10 to cheer on our Manningham girls as they battle for a spot in the next stage of the finals series. 💪

Meanwhile, our junior rep teams have just two rounds remaining before finals. Fresh off a successful Association Championships campaign on Sunday, confidence will be high as our athletes continue their push towards the end of the season.
