Torture? No just cupping!
Covid has changed our lives, it’s putting all kinds of barriers and restrictions on what we once took for granted.
-
Many of us are talking about all the things you can’t do anymore.
-
What if, instead you started thinking about the things that you can do?

I challenge you to make a list, it can be absolutely anything.
-
Given that some of us have more time due to working less or in some cases not at all, you could use this time to work on yourself, instead of being angry and frustrated with the world. (Which is totally understandable) but don’t let it over shadow all the good you could be doing for yourself and others.

Make a list of what you can do.

Set some realistic goals.

Develop a daily routine, covering sleep, exercises, times to eat (nutrition), relax and recovery (possibly breathing exercises or meditation), take time to acknowledge the good things happening around you.

Reach out to family and friends if you need help or support or to simply feel connected.

If you need help with home exercises, we offer online workouts, that require no equipment, so it’s easy for you to participate.

I’d like to wish you good physical and mental health during this next 6 week period as we go through stage 4 lockdown.
Make the most of your 1 hour per day exercise outside... walk the dog, ride a bike or go for a jog.👣🚶🏼🏃🏻♀️🐶🚴🏼♀️🚴🏼♂️
Eat healthy clean foods 🍎🍐🍊🍉🍌🥝🥑🥦🥒🥕🍠 🥬 to help keep a clear focus and positive mindset and outlook.
Avoid unhealthy j***y foods 🥨🍔🍟🍕🍿🍪🍩🥧🍦🥮🧁🍻🥂
What we eat can affect our mood and our body, would you agree? And I’m sure you would love to avoid putting on those unwanted extra kilos!!! 😡🤬

Sleep and rest, keep a positive routine, get to bed at your usual times, staying up later and later each night can affect quality of sleep affecting the recovery of our body and mind.
Do some meditation or yoga if you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious etc... 🧘🏼♂️🧘🏼
A stretching routine could also be useful if you are not into meditation or yoga.
Telehealth consultations are available with me for Myotherapy, so if you are dealing with aches or pains, or you might be restricted in movement, please reach out to me.

Success!!!
First LIVE workout compete last night!
30 mins of continuous exercises with 2 x 1 minute breaks.
Needless to say I was sweating buckets, as were the participants at home... Well done ladies and gentlemen 💪🏻

Heart to heart
For some people during this time, it’s going to be so tough as people’s livelihoods have more or less been taken, particularly if they can’t work anymore, lots of hardship will be felt across Melbourne, Australia and the entire world over the coming months.
At this point in time I’m one of the many people being effected by this crisis. As you know Gym is closed, and I’m feeling the stress, worry and uncertainty of what the future holds. I am however in a situation where I can attempt to move my services to an online platform, to still have an impact on your health and wellbeing during this uncertain time. It will be a huge transition for me and will certainly get me out of my comfort zone, but I know with all your encouragement and support we can make this work.
I have put together 5 options for home packages. I believe these options will cover what you need during this isolated time, to keep your health, fitness and wellbeing going strong.
For Online Virtual Classes, these will be done between 9am and 6pm mon-fri
A time table will be sent out with 7 classes scheduled at slightly different times each day, if they are popular, this number will increase, as we progress forward.
You will not need any specific gym equipment however if you do have equipment I’m sure you could incorporate them into the workouts where appropriate. I will be getting creative in looking for things at everyone should have around the house.
At home packages!
Option 1:
Live virtual classes, pay as you go per class. Live access only.
duration: class 30min
cost: $15
Option 2:
Live virtual classes, no limit, do as many as you want. Plus online access.
duration: class 30min
cost: $25 a week
Option 3:
Live virtual classes, plus a motivational/keep on track, group call.
duration: class 30min, call 30min
cost: $30 a week
Option 4:
Live virtual classes, plus motivational/keep on track, one to one call.
duration: class 30min, call 20min
cost: $40 a week
Option 5:
One to one live individual training sessions including motivational discussion... plus live and online access to classes.
duration: 40min
cost: $45 a week for 1 session or
$75 a week for 2 sessions.
Further Explanations and details:
*Classes are live and at allocated times (like normal contact classes).
*Plus online access, included in options 2, 3, 4 or 5 for those that miss the live classes, or want to do extra.
*Motivational/keep on track call: covering state of mind, exercise, diet, relaxation and sleep, while answering any other questions you might have.
Group discussion time as well for group call.
*There is an upgrade price for each option should you have a partner or family member(s) wanting to take up the training as well simply add $5 for options 1 and 2 and $10 for options 3, 4 and 5.
FREE Special community group call, “weekly drinks!” A social event, for these isolated times.
