**Works affecting access to Templestowe Reserve this Sunday EVENING April 30**

"Hello Templestowe Reserve community,

This Sunday evening, from 7pm until about 1am the next morning, we will be finalising the installation of several power poles along Porter Street.

To complete these works safely we need to close down the westbound carriageway on Porter Street east from Edwin Road to just past the entrance to Templestowe Reserve and as a result there will be no access to the reserve from Porter Street during these hours.

Traffic coming from the Warrandyte direction will be detoured along Church Road and Foote Street so if you or your members need to access the reserve you will need to park nearby and walk in to the ground.

If you are already at the ground before our works start you will still be able to exit the reserve as usual.

There will also be a lane closure on Porter West during the installation of a power pole there so please follow speed limits and directions from traffic controllers.

We hope that by doing these works on Sunday evening we will minimise any disruption to your club, but we thank you for your patience."

WHAT A WEEKEND | Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2023 TPTC Club Championships. We had over 60 entrants across 22 events, which is one of the biggest tournaments we’ve ever held. Congratulations to all our winners, runners-up as well as everyone who came down and competed, and brought a wonderful atmosphere to our tennis club. Here’s some photos of our finalists! 9AM: ALL Hot Shots, U12, U14, and Open Men's Championship Singles

11AM: ALL B Grade Men's Singles & Doubles

12PM: ALL remaining Doubles events at (Junior & Open)

2PM: ALL Consolation Singles events

Any remaining matches to be played 9AM Sunday (further details to be advised)

*SUNDAY 2ND APRIL*

9AM: ALL Open Mixed Championship Doubles, Parent & Child Doubles matches

11:30AM: Finals to commence

WHAT A SEASON! | This past weekend we had no less than 4 junior teams playing in the Grand Finals of their respective Eastern Region Tennis Inc. competitions, with 3 taking out the title!

Well done to Rubbers 8, Rubbers 18 and Boys 5 teams on winning the flag, and congratulations to Boys 6 for finishing Runners Up after a fantastic season!

This sets a fantastic tone for the upcoming Winter season in 2023, with so many bright young stars representing TPTC. We hope to see you all back on court this weekend for the 2023 Club Championships this weekend!

We will be finalising draws and scheduling this week, but expect singles matches to be played Saturday AM with doubles to be played Saturday PM, with overflow match play on Sunday morning ahead of our Finals Day on Sunday at 1PM.

The TPTC Club Championships are BACK!

Join us April 1-2 (Sat-Sun) for the next installment of our annual tennis championships across all age groups and player standards – Pennant, ERT, Mid-Week, Junior and Social players all welcome!

Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles will be running in this year's championships, with event grades covering everything from Open level to Graded/Social events, and even a Hot Shots Tournament for our youngest upcoming tennis stars!

Currently, the schedule will see all Singles and Doubles events played throughout the course of Saturday 1 April starting from 9AM, with overflow matches to be played first thing on Sunday 2 April ahead of our Finals Day starting from 1PM.
