Congratulations to our 2026 Crusader of the Year, Luke Cassidy!

In 2026, Luke led his team to the best NBL1 result in Crusaders history, doing so with the same humility and commitment he has shown throughout his career. This year, Luke also reached the incredible milestone of playing his 100th NBL1 game, an achievement no other Crusader had accomplished before him.

Luke is the true embodiment of the Crusaders pathway, having played his entire basketball career with one club. From his junior years through to NBL1, Luke has proudly represented the Crusaders at every level, making his journey a remarkable achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated.

Congratulations to Greg Stevenson for being awarded 2026 Club Person of the Year!

Greg is an invaluable member of our Crusaders community. His passion and enthusiasm are infectious, and he is always willing to share his advice and support. With Greg’s guidance and expertise, we were able to secure a new state-of-the-art scoreboard, which has been a fantastic addition to our stadium.

We appreciate all you do for our club, Greg! 🙌

The Board of Central Coast Basketball, in conjunction with the Basketball Committee, is delighted to announce that the Central Coast Crusaders NBL1 programs for both men and women will continue in 2027 and beyond.

As we’ve confirmed our commitment to NBL1 in 2027 and beyond, our focus now is working together to build the strongest and most sustainable Crusaders pathway we can.

Central Coast Basketball is now inviting expressions of interest from businesses interested in partnering with the Crusaders NBL1 program in 2027.

We can’t wait to build on the success of the 2026 season.

Congratulations to our 2026 Scorebench Person of the Year, Kellie Hassab!

After joining the scorebench last year, Kellie has brought consistent dedication and enthusiasm to the role. We appreciate everything she does in this space!

Congratulations to our Senior Referee of the Year, Belinda Dalton!

Belinda had some very notable achievements this year including officiating her first NBL1 game and being named as a reserve for the Waratah Youth Women 2 Grand Final!
