Season 26’🩵

As another Season Comes to an end, I can well and truly say it was the first year in 9 years where I felt I didn’t have football as my number 1 Priority,
And it felt Refreshing 😌

The highlights this year 🔥

An Undefeated season With the Grammar Girls, League Champions and Grand Final Winners 🏆 🏆 💚🖤
Winning 11 straight games, Scoring 37 Goals & Conceding only 3 Goals

Building my Personal Coaching Brand MGK,
Having the opportunity to collaborate with other coaches & mentor 30+ Goalkeepers & a handful of Outfield Players Throughout the year, being apart of their individual Development is extremely Rewarding and Fulfilling🤍🖤

A couple Refereeing Milestones,
My First Centre Referee for WPL
My First AR for First Grade NPL
20+ Youth NPL Games
30+ CCF Games

This year had a lot of variety, from my Private Coaching, School Coaching, Travelling, Refereeing, Studying and Maintaining my Run Club Stride Swim Coffee Terrigal and as much as it wasn’t planned, it was something I new I wanted to do but never wanted to shy away from my next football opportunity that I kept receiving,

Moving into the next Season, I’m open to new opportunities that progress me in the direction of Senior Football,
I’m excited for the unknown and I know I’ll be ready for whatever comes my way next

Being a Goalkeeper is a Massive Puzzle!! 🧩 🧤

Like anything in life, when you have the right people, Support and The Mindset,
it makes it Simple and Extremely Enjoyable 😊

My Number 1 and Favourite Rule In my Coaching Philosophy is TOO HAVE FUN, which decorated from one of my very first coaches when I played AFL 20 years ago now,

But its more important that everyone knows HOW to have fun,
For me it’s setting Standards, Roles, Expectations and Responsibilities.
Without all these in Line with one another, life gets Chaotic, and Even more So, Goalkeeping Gets Chaotic in an already chaotic Role with huge responsibilities. 😬

Be a Good Person, Be a Good Teammate and an Even Better Goalkeeper, 🫂

Stay Curious, Stay Brave 🧠

8 Years. Countless lessons. One massive pivot. 📈🧤

Over the last few months, my coaching journey took an unexpected turn. The Head of Goalkeeping role I stepped into last November is no longer. I was forced to step back.

But when one door closes, you don’t stand in the hallway. You look at the foundation you’ve built and you get back to work. 🧱
I look back at the memory bank of my coaching to remind myself what the last 8 years have actually been about. It was never about a specific title. It was about:

⚽️ My very first Grand Final and the first team that trusted me.
📈 Getting my first taste of the Mariners Academy and Newcastle NPL.
🔥 The wild sideline celebrations, the 6-1 GF wins, and the U18 Golden Goal madness.
🤝 The assistant coaches, head coaches, and managers who shaped me.
👑 Finding my true passion in coaching women’s football.

Today, my focus is 100% on MGK. My private 1:1s, my group programs, and building the exact environment I wish I had when I was a young keeper.

The environment has changed, but the philosophy remains exactly the same: Care unconditionally.

Thank you to everyone in these photos who has been part of the journey so far. We are just getting started. 👊
Stay Curious. Be Brave.
