We’re in our final week of Prep 4 Rep 🙌🏼

Our pre-trial programs have been massive, particularly in our U12 and U14 age groups. It’s great to see players putting in the work before trials!

A reminder that the trial process kicks off this weekend with Trial 2 Trial for any NON PEP player born 2010-2015!

🏀 U12 NORTHERN JAMBOREE 2026 🏀

What an incredible weekend! A number of our U12 players travelled to Coffs Harbour for the John Davidson Country Jamboree, an important milestone in their basketball journey and a fantastic opportunity to continue developing their skills and love for the game.

A huge thank you to all our coaches (pictures) and referees (Yasmeen & Khael) who travelled and gave their time to support the event. Your hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated, and we’re proud to have you representing our club! 👏

Congratulations to the Cru Athletes selected for SPP!

U16s’ + U18s COUNTRY, METRO & WHEELCHAIR PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | STATE PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected in the State Performance Program (SPP) for 2026-2027.

The program exists to assist in identifying, developing, and preparing athletes in the Under 16, Under 18 & Junior Wheelchair age groups to represent New South Wales at the Footlocker National Championships.

SPP will commence with an Induction Camp on 9th-11th of October 2026 for all athletes at Hills Basketball Stadium, before the morning weekly workouts commence in term 4.

BNSW will be in contact with you in the coming weeks with all details regarding the program.

Congratulations to our U17 athletes selected for the Heroes Challenge!

UNDER 17S COUNTRY | HEROES CHALLENGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Basketball NSW would like to congratulate the U17 selected athletes for the 2027 Heroes Challenges.

The Heroes Challenges form part of Basketball NSW’s Athletes Pathways, and are designed to inspire, develop, and retain young athletes by providing those selected from the 2026 Performance Pathway Trials with high-quality training, competition, and personal growth opportunities. The Hero Challenges aim to empower players on and off the court, building resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

Selected athletes will now take part in elite training, mentorship, and development opportunities.

The Boys Challenge will run 19th-20th January, and the Girls Challenge will run 21st-22nd January in Penrith.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks. We extend our congratulations to all athletes on their achievement.

We’re excited to share some key dates for the Waratah State Championship League, formerly known as Junior Premier League (JPL).

Teams will need to qualify for this competition, so if you are selected to represent the Crusaders in this league, we ask that you keep these dates free.
