Radical Embodied Breathwork & Movement, helping you come to life with the clarity, vitality & confidence that comes with being naturally yourself

Overwhelm, disconnection, trauma - the more our world turns the more we are experiencing these as our everyday. Life without a guidebook has plenty of challenges - especially if your more of a square peg in a round hole/ black sheep type person like me. If there is one driving force behind my own practice and exploring, it is looking for ways to understand myself more deeply, and build for myself

𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘵 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘴 (24 𝘑𝘶𝘯𝘦 2026)

A step above rock bottom,
a man in despair—
broken, living inside fear.

Fear of his own mind,
pulling him down
to a place he knows too well.

Anger, rage—
a life that can’t go on like this,
a weight too heavy for these years.

Then—
a simple call,
a reaching out.

A house on the boulders,
standing among trees.

From shadows, she appears—
Brie.

Small in stature,
steady, warm—
a smile
that lets the air back in.

Now—
life is good,
life is great.
The ache of yesterday is gone.

Ten sessions—
peace.
Ten sessions—
calm.

And countless reasons
to stay,
to breathe,
to live an island life
my own.

Family patterns. Family matters. Sibling scenes…. it's not just you. It's all of us.

This Winter Solstice we are going there, with the breath.

A couple of spots remaining - small groups so we keep it intimate, soft and deep.

… crazy that we have to choose to do this, and what a choice to make 💚

LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE FULL MOON… KĪLAUEA ERUPTS 🌋

Just hours after the Full Moon crossed the sky, Kīlauea came roaring to life.

Massive lava fountains shot hundreds of feet into the air as Hawaii’s most famous volcano put on a spectacular sunrise display.

The eruption transformed the morning sky into a glowing wall of orange as molten rock surged from deep within the Earth.

🌕 Full Moon.
🌋 Sunrise eruption.
🌎 Another reminder that our planet is anything but quiet.

To paraphrase - We come out of, not too, the world - a thought and feeling provoking perspective shift.
perspective we might say is everything….

The Yorubas have a proverb about how children are given to their mothers and to the hands that welcome them. It is said that children do not come into the world, they come out of it.

The distinction is critical: to come into the world is to presume a metaphysics of clean entries and pure arrivals. To come into the world is to fall from the sky. It is to have been positioned outside the world before the journey.

But to come out of the world is to have always been part of the world. It is to stretch the world's limits, to drag its grime and dust and murk and quivering bacteria and murmuring creases and shimmering shadows and tattooed landscapes and pustular surfaces and ancestral sedimentations and colonial arrangements and theogonic accommodations and industrial fevers and speculative geologies and racial productions and civilisational traumas and ethical longings into the irreverent bump of an engorged belly.

To come out of the world is to notice that the "new" is a radical composition: bodies do not sprout from pure places. Bodies are composed with colonial threads, with violent textures, with imperial sedimentations, with accommodations that already inhere with the violences that produced them. There is no precolonial body to return to, no innocence to regain - for innocence itself is not the absence of tension but the arrangement of sensibility in such a way as to contain those tensions and their exilic powers. Innocence is accommodated tension.

In this sense, the new is grotesque. The grotesque is how I see bodies within radical composition. The word itself carries more weight and prestige than its modern flattening might allow us to see. It comes from grotta, the grotto, the cave, the underground chamber. The grotesque was first used to describe the strange paintings discovered in the underground ruins of Nero's Domus Aurea in Rome - fantastical figures, hybrid forms, bodies that mixed human and animal and plant in ways that violated every classical taxonomy.

The grotesque is the aesthetic of the paraterranean (my speculative geological term for the churning within the settled). This is the strange, speculative life of the body produced by the sorting mechanisms that distribute the body into categories. The grotesque is the worldly, the unfinished, the limitation of the taxonomic, a refusal of purity, and an invitation to apprentice the new as a wondering, wandering, coddiwompling, awkward falling-apart-together in the moral strongholds that lock us into the safety of the normative.

patterns, flow, presence

Under a Fig Tree | Gabriela Gutierrez | Substack 31/05/2026

The landscapes we traverse…. with over 20 years in the ‘wellness industry ( how is it an industry??) for me, and around 30 for Natalie, these days it really can bring us to our knees to see the kinds of things shared in this well written article.

Some days, we wonder how we can keep sharing our yoga - breathwork - healing practices.
the truth is, we can’t not... it is who we are and we are not here to make money or have ‘influence’.

We are in these spaces because we care. We care about the planet, we are about humanity and all life forms, we care enough to breath and heal beyond the beliefs we have carried and keep evolving into more heart centred loving beings, shedding beliefs as our knowing grows ( apprently grey hair does help ;) we hope this care ripples out gently and touches a heart or two…

When you do choose to share in the spaces we hold, you will find grounded and real experiences, you wont be entering a performance space and we certainly wont be seducing you with…

Well anything except maybe a cute baby goat pic, and we really only have them because of the milk, and even that is something we constantly reflect on…

Enjoy the following read if you too are perplexed by the modern ‘healing’ and ‘wellness’ worlds, and know that there are real opportunities out there, most likely to be found beyond the noise and ring lights.

𝗦𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗿𝘆. 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀.
We all live with them, in them. 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.

Fighting for a seat at the table.
Screaming to be heard.
Wrestling for a piece of pie.
Butting heads over where to go.
Being the good girl/good son.
Making the grade or being left out.

We can trace it all back to your unique childhood.

These are the patterns that are collectively up for letting go.
For some of us they are being pushed and shoved into our faces just like your siblings did…..

𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗷𝘂𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁.

Connect to the solstice energies of turning inward, reflection, deep restoration, the small,
a remembering of the natural world and the deep truth that we are not seperate from it.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯, 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯.

June 21st we will use these energies to see our own family patterns and sibling dynamics so that you can leave them behind and move into the next seasonal cycle from a different place, freer and clearer. Less bound by the hidden past.

You dont even need to talk about it. 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵e 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀, the most powerful way I know to create our own self healing, along with healing for your relationships and our societies.

Join us, Briellen & Natalie, a group of soulful humans & some awesome goats (𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘺𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘴!)
for a deep dive day of Radical Embodied Breathwork, connection, honour nature’s season, clean up your family dynamics.
