Desert limes are a rich source of Vitamin E, folate, calcium, and lutein (a compound that plays an important role in eye health and wellbeing). It also has a high potassium:sodium ratio, which may help reduce blood pressure.

My involvement with the former WCT( ) started in December 2005 as a trustee and trainer. Many friendships and opportunities came from this relationship.I’m sad to hear that this organization is struggling at the moment 😪😪So they are running a campaign to save this important space for circus in Wellington/New Zealand.

For the next 6 weeks, we will be holding a series of events as part of a fundraising campaign to keep our wonderful circus space alive.
The last years have been challenging; Covid and the rising cost-of-living mean that the Circus Hub is unfortunately in a bad financial situation and at risk of closing its doors in a few months’ time without extra funds. We are unfortunately facing a cash shortfall of $50,000. We have long-term plans in place to bring us back to sustainability, but these new initiatives take time to gather momentum. If we hit our fundraising target, we will have enough money to see us through to the end of the year, which will give us the time that we need to see our long-term strategies pick up and ensure our survival.
What's that you say? How can you help? Well, since you ask…
Obviously, our Givealittle page is waiting for any generous donation that you can give. We'll take the price of a coffee, 50 bucks, Grandma's gold teeth… anything that you can spare will be greatly appreciated and will help us achieve our goal.
There are also going to be auctions, an open day, raffles, a market, all finishing with a world-class Gala show. Poor Cirque du Soleil will be wondering why they've stopped selling tickets.
And please, tell your friends, colleagues, neighbours, that nice person sitting next to you on the bus. The more people who know about the fundraiser, the more people will help, and the more money we will raise!
Follow us on social media and keep an eye out for our newsletter to find out about other ways that you can support us, and to know all the details of our upcoming events and activities.
To celebrate the launch, we will have a get-together at Southern Cross bar on Friday 30th June, at 5pm. Come along, have a tipple of your choice, and chat with amazing incredible people about the Hub and its unbeatable community. Kids and dogs are welcome!
We thank you in advance for your support - together we can keep circus alive and thriving in Wellington.
