Went fishing at the crack of dawn yesterday, stocking up on live bait and trying to catch fresh calamari in the hopes of a king or two out at longy and the fad, we tried for hours without success, also trying for a dolly as well , but it wasnt until the afternoon, when we came back into the harbour and pulled up to another one of our king fish hot spots, did we finally get a bite! Not the fish any of us were expecting, but it was sure great to see a little ghost come out of the depths of the harbour, being my mates first Jewfish aswell he was wrapped! (Fish went 82cms )
