Fabian is a vital part of Senshi Academy.
He’s trained with us for years, represented the club in competition and nowadays he’s a massive support to Maysa on her Paralympic Judo journey.
The recent earthquake in Venezuela has caused deep heartbreak for Fabian—he has family trapped in the rubble…
This week, Fabian is travelling to Brazil with Maysa for two LA28 Paralympic Qualifying events.
We’re asking the Senshi family (and the wider judo community) to help, even with a small amount, to support travel from Brazil to Caracas so he can be with his family.
We’ll share the GoFundMe link comments.
If there’s ever been a time for judo to come together, it’s now.
Let’s chip in and help our friend through this difficult time.

Monday night we were treated to a masterclass from the genius Sandro Piccirillo.
Students and coaches alike were shown techniques and concepts that reflected an incredible depth of Judo knowledge.
Senshi Academy is sincerely grateful that Sandro was able to attend, share his expertise and exemplify what it means to be a gentleman, a class act and professor in the art.
We look forward to following your journey around the world and hopefully seeing you again soon, Sensei 🙇‍♂️
