It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Con Bubis, beloved father of Thomastown Football Netball Club Life Member and long-standing sponsor, John Bubis.

The Bubis family have been a valued and much loved part of the Thomastown Football Netball Club community for many years, and we extend our deepest condolences to John and the entire Bubis family during this incredibly difficult time.

Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved Con.

May he rest in peace.

***150 GAMES*** & ***200 GAMES***

A massive congratulations goes to Liarna Talarico and Jazmyn Borell who play their 150 and 200 club games, respectively, tomorrow night in our Thomastown 4 v Diamond Creek Grand Final.

Liarna joined as a Bear back in 2014 and quickly become a club staple. She has B&F wins under her belt, played in the first Bears netball premiership winning team and has taken home club woman of the year. She now joins the 150 club and we are so thankful for the support and dedication provided along the journey.

Jaz joined us way back in 2011 and after 2,028 goals, a first Bears netball premiership win and respective B&F accolades now joins the 200 club! Jaz becomes the 6th netballer to achieve this milestone and we couldn't be prouder.

Well done on your respective milestone achievements! The club wouldn't be the same without your dedication.

Their game is on at 8:20pm tomorrow night at Latrobe Uni, so come down and show your support! Bring home another Bears premiership 🐻

The biggest night of the season is here! Tomorrow night, both Team 1 and Team 4 are hitting the court with everything on the line!

Massive weekend ahead as It’s a do-or-die game for our Reserves this weekend as they take on Old Paradians in an Elimination Final!

The boys will be hitting Eltham Park ready to fight for every ball and keep their finals campaign alive.

It’s all on the line so get down to Eltham Park this sunday at 11:55 and get behind the boys!

Team 1 take on Heat as they battle it out to keep their finals campaign alive, while Team 5 are lucky enough to get another chance tomorrow night, taking on Greensborough for a spot in the Grand Final next Friday.

Meanwhile, Team 4 get a well-earned week off after securing their place in the Grand Final next Friday.

A massive congratulations goes to Ruby Sommerville who plays her 100th club game tomorrow night in our Thomastown 1 v Heat semi final.

Ruby joined as a Bear back in 2016 as a shy 15 year old. Over the years she has grown into a commanding player on court and a role model off court. Her passion for the game is unmatched and her competitive spirit unwavering. Shooting 1,104 club goals, her best and fairest wins and playing in grand finals is only one part of Ruby's journey, and we are so appreciative of her mentoring and coaching efforts while also playing at top flight.

Well done on your achievement, Ruby! We are so lucky to have you as a Bear and love watching you take on the game with fierce determination and constant energy.
