Unfortunately, due to the current weather conditions, athletics has been cancelled for tonight.

The safety of our athletes, families and volunteers is always our priority, and unfortunately the weather just isn’t on our side this week. 🌧️

What a fantastic day for Eliana, with some incredibly close finishes and 3 new PBs! 🌟

🥈 800m – 2:50.23
An amazing 5.05-second PB, finishing 2nd and missing 1st place by just 0.43 seconds! 🤯

🥉 1100m Race Walk
3rd place with a huge 8-second PB! 👏

🔥 400m – 4th Place
So incredibly close to another medal, missing the podium by only 0.15 seconds!

💪 Shot Put – 5th Place
Another PB, adding 19cm to her previous best!

Three PBs, a 🥈 silver, a 🥉 bronze and two incredibly close finishes — what a brilliant day of competition for Eliana! ❤️🖤

No podium finishes needed for Jaina to walk away from the Spring Carnival with plenty to celebrate! 🤩👏

Jaina competed in 2 events and came away with 2 new PBs! 🔥

🏃‍♀️ Long Jump – 2.70m
✨ A massive 27cm PB!

🎯 Javelin – 10.89m
✨ Another fantastic 34cm PB!

Two events. Two PBs. 💪❤️ What a fabulous day and an awesome way to kick off the season!

The Maryborough Amateur Athletic Club would like to thank the Fraser Coast Regional Council for providing a grant to partially fund the er****on of seating at the Long Jump & Javelin event areas.
All improvements undertaken at the athletic grounds in Tinana promote the health and well being of Club Members and the general public.

Little Suzanna may not have come away with a placing yesterday, but she certainly had something to celebrate! 🥰

She crossed the finish line in her 70m with a brand new PB! 🎉⏱️

And judging by how absolutely stoked she was, that PB meant just as much as any medal! 🤩❤️

Carnivals aren’t always about podium finishes — they’re about having a go, gaining experience, building confidence and seeing your own improvement.

❤️🖤 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY FOR OUR ATHLETES! 🖤❤️

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to every one of our athletes who competed at the Spring Carnival yesterday! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏

We are incredibly proud of you all — from the medals and PBs to those competing at their very first carnival, stepping outside their comfort zone, gaining confidence and simply giving it their best. 🌟

There were some absolutely amazing performances throughout the day, but more importantly, it was wonderful to see our athletes out there having fun, supporting one another, making memories and representing our club. ❤️🖤

🥇🥈🥉 Congratulations to everyone who achieved a placing, smashed a PB or reached a personal goal — every achievement is worth celebrating!

A big thank you as well to all the parents, families, coaches and supporters who helped make the day possible and cheered our athletes on. 🙌
