SEA EAGLES PARTNERSHIPS - THE CLUB THATS VISIBLE πŸ‘€πŸ‘€

We know you enjoy our club socials, if you didn’t why would we be the largest in Queensland Premier Cricket ? πŸ€”

But did you know that during the two week T20MAX period alone our 8nstagram page had over 888,000 views. That’s a heck of a lot of eyeballs.

So here’s the thing - the WMDCC executive has for years worked tirelessly to provide you the best facilities we possibly can and we don’t intend to stop anytime soon.

To help us, we are looking for further companies to join our group of extensive partners for Season 2026/27 and beyond.

In return, we guarantee that we will showcase your business just like those who currently and historically support us.

Don’t believe us? Ask any of our sponsors and we will back them to give us a raving review.

So don’t just be amazed by our Socials, be a part of them and help us continue to strive for the best facilities we can produce for our members.

Promise you won’t be dissappointed.

SEA EAGLES YOUTH CRICKET STARTS WITH A BANG πŸ’₯

A couple of strong wins by our Lords Taverners and BMC1 teams at home and a challenging first up defeat for our BMC2 side were the results from day 1 of the Youth competitions.

A big run chase on Ian Droney Oval saw Aden Biddle make a statement which absolute no one at Sea Eagles HQ was surprise by.

A 106 run partnership with Caeden Ford enable the Sea Eagles to mow down the 260 run partnership.

Whilst it was a strong team effort, a few eyes were closely watching Finn Haller as he came back from injury with an impressive performance.

The sandpit at Wayne Broad Oval produced another tight contest with Caleb McDougall showing his mental strength with a tough innings at the top of the order.

Noah Bray was then the pick of the bowlers amongst an impressive 8 bowler attack as the Sea Eagles claimed a 19 run victory.

Our BMC2 team weren’t as fortunate in their match however an unbeaten 70 by Will Perry showed his huge efforts at training are reaping the rewards.

SEY CUP | DEVELOPING OUR NEXT GENERATION

The SEY Cup is a competition designed to give Under 15 male cricketers additional high-quality cricket alongside their regular junior cricket.

Played with other Premier Grade clubs, the competition allows young players to further develop their skills, experience the Premier Cricket pathway and build stronger connections with our senior program.

This season, Wynnum Manly proudly entered two Sea Eagles teams, coached by current First and Second Grade players Harley Malpass and Ben Marsden.

It is fantastic to see our senior players giving back and helping guide the next generation of Sea Eagles.

We can’t wait to see how these young men develop back in their junior clubs as a result of this development opportunity.
