Wednesday night saw Wade Sheedy and Jaie Schultz take to the grid for Round 2 of the ANZCAR Thunder series at Auto Club Speedway.
Qualifying saw Jaie start from position 4 on the grid with a 40.372, closely followed by Wade out of position 9 with a time of 40.514.
Both had strong pace early on in the race with the boys running P6 and P7 before a caution flag came out half with through the pit cycle trapping both drivers a lap down.
Both Wade and Jaie managed to get back on to the lead lap and made use of there last set of tyres with a few late race restarts.
Wade had a mega drive through the field to get his first ANZCAR podium finishing in the 3RD position after the 77 Laps, with Jaie coming home in the 11TH position.
