❓ What do I need to attend?
You’ll need your bike, riding gear, and a great attitude!
Please bring:
✔ Your motorcycle (in safe working condition)
✔ Fuel for the day
✔ Water, snacks & lunch
✔ Any personal items you may need (sunscreen, tools, etc.)

❓ What riding gear is required?
Full protective gear is mandatory for safety. This includes:
✔ Helmet
✔ Riding boots
✔ Gloves
✔ Long pants (motocross or enduro pants recommended)
✔ Long-sleeve jersey or shirt
We strongly recommend additional protection such as:
✔ Knee guards/braces
✔ Elbow guards
✔ Body armour / chest protector

❓ I can’t load or unload my bike on my own — can someone help me?
Absolutely! You won’t be on your own here 🤍
Our team is more than happy to help you load and unload your bike, and you’ll quickly find that the Dirt Angels crew are all about supporting each other — there’s always plenty of willing hands around.
No question is silly, and you definitely won’t be the only one needing a hand. We’ve got you covered so you can focus on enjoying the weekend 🙌

❓ Does my bike need to be registered?
No—bike registration is not required for this event.

❓ Do I need a motorcycle licence?
No licence is required to attend this course.

❓ I’m only on my learner’s (or have no licence), can I still come?
Yes! You’re absolutely welcome—this course is held on private property, so no licence is needed.

❓ What level rider do I need to be?
This course is designed for beginner to intermediate riders.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build confidence, our coaches will group you with similar skill levels.

❓ What kind of bike can I bring?
Any off-road capable motorcycle is suitable (trail bikes, enduro bikes, etc.).
If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out before booking.

❓ Will I be pressured or pushed beyond my limits?
Not at all! This is a supportive, judgement-free environment. You’ll be encouraged to progress at your own pace, with coaching tailored to your comfort level.

❓ What if I’m slow / nervous / think I’ll hold everyone up?
Perfect—you’ll fit right in 😘
This weekend is all about learning, not racing. There’s zero pressure, and we’ve got your back every step (or ride) of the way.

❓ Do I need to be fit or super experienced?
Nope! You don’t need to be a gym ju**ie or a pro rider.
If you can ride a bike and are keen to learn—we’ll take care of the rest 💪

❓ Will there be other beginners there?
100% YES 🙌
Most of the ladies are in the same boat—learning, building confidence, and maybe a little nervous too. That’s what makes the vibe so supportive (and fun!).

❓ Is it actually fun or just drills all day?
Oh it’s FUN fun 😏
Yes, we’ll work on skills—but you’ll also be out on the trails, laughing, learning, and probably surprising yourself with what you can do.

Absolutely—and honestly, most people do!

💙 GUARDIANS & GROMMETS – WE'RE NOT GIVING UP! 🏍️

Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has shown interest in our brand-new Guardians & Grommets program.

We absolutely LOVE this concept and, from the conversations we've had with families, we know there are plenty of you who would love the opportunity to learn and ride alongside your kids.

Unfortunately, our two proposed September weekends just haven't worked for enough families. Between Father's Day, the Killarney Trail Ride and already-busy calendars, we haven't received the minimum numbers needed on either weekend to confidently go ahead.

So rather than give up on the idea... we're looking at JANUARY! ☀️🏍️

We're now exploring dates during the January Christmas school holiday period, which we're hoping will give more families the opportunity to join us.

What is Guardians & Grommets?

It's a two-day coaching weekend designed for beginner and developing trail riders, where Mums, Dads or Guardians get on the bikes and learn alongside their Grommets.

❤️ One Guardian + One Grommet = One Team.

You'll learn the same fundamental skills, build confidence together and, most importantly, create some pretty awesome riding memories along the way.

Learn Together. Ride Together. Grow Together.

But to make this new program a reality, we need you!

We require a minimum of 6 Guardian & Grommet teams to make the weekend viable.

If January sounds like it could work for your family — even if you couldn't make our original September dates — please register your interest.

There's no commitment to book at this stage. Your EOI simply helps us understand how many families are genuinely interested and gives us the best chance of finding a January date that works.

We really want to get Guardians & Grommets off the ground. We think there's something pretty special about giving parents and kids the opportunity to learn the same skills, encourage each other and enjoy this sport together.
