University have been the competition's benchmark side throughout 2026, while the Hawks arrive full of confidence after an impressive Preliminary Final victory over South Toowoomba. After finishing the home and away season as minor premiers, Toowoomba earned their second chance at University after falling short in the Qualifying Final.
