West Toowoomba's Sunday morning's are very busy through May with the running of our inaugural LAWN LEDGENDS LEAGUE.

6 teams of club members are competing over the 5 Sunday in a Golf Doubles Competition.

The winning team and runners up will be crowned on the 31st of May.

It is planned to have a sausage sizzle open to all members on that date.

West Toowoomba Croquet Club celebrates 100 years on Saturday the 14th of February.
The event was marked with the reopenning of the club for the next 100years by Toowoomba Mayor Geoff McDonald.
Rainy weather did not stop a good attendence with representives from the other Darling Downs Clubs,Michael Eddiehausen President CAQ Life members Russell Belz and Noel Kirby and Club Patron Graham Barron
Noel had the task of making the first hoop of the century with all watching on.
The hoop was made and all in attendance gave 3 cheers and then enjoyed lunch and a piece of cake.

West Toowoomba today awarded Noel Kirby with Life Membership.

Noel has been a familiar face around the club for many years and has spent hours volunteering his time. Assisting in the refurbishment of our club house along with the mowing and preparation of the greens for play Noel is the first person to greet new members, and soon has them out on the green instructing them in the finer points of Croquet.

Noel was joined by his wife Rhonda for the presentation.

Thursday the 17th of October saw our annual Friendship Day. Visiting croquet players from Kingaroy,Dalby, Laurel Bank and Toowoomba joined our members in a day of croquet,fun and fellowship.
