π Not registered? No problem! This meet is open to non-registered swimmers too, giving everyone the opportunity to come and try competitive swimming.

πββοΈ Day 4 β School Sport Australia Swimming Championships πββοΈ
What an incredible way to finish an outstanding week of racing, with our FAST swimmers producing some sensational relay performances!
π Mia was part of a fantastic relay team that touched the wall in 3rd place, but under the multi-class points system they were unfortunately relegated to 6th overall. Mia had an outstanding swim on the 3rd leg, clocking a brilliant 33.81.
π Bryce was selected in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay, helping his team claim π₯ Gold in a thrilling finish. Swimming the 2nd leg, Bryce split an impressive 54.03 before backing up in the 15β16 Boys 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay, where the team also took π₯ Gold. Bryceβs 3rd leg split of 23.74 was outstanding!
π Taylor was also selected in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay, with his team finishing a very close 4th. Taylor produced a superb 3rd leg split of 53.80. He then backed up for the 15β16 Boys B Team, who also finished 4th, leading off in 24.88, just outside his personal best.
π Tahli had one relay to finish her championships and did it in style, helping her team to π₯ Silver with a strong 3rd leg split of 27.24.
What an amazing week it has been for our FAST swimmers, finishing the championships with an incredible 19 medals:

Day 3 of competition and another medal haul by our fast swimmers! πͺπββοΈ
Mia led off the day with a fantastic performance, taking 1st π₯ in the 50 Breaststroke in 41.43, before backing it up with a strong 4th place in the 50 Backstroke in 39.29.
Tahli followed with an outstanding swim, claiming 2nd π₯ in the 50 Breaststroke in 33.20, just off her heat time.
Taylor made it through to the finals in both of his events, finishing 9th in the 50 Backstroke, then powering home to 5th in the 100 Freestyle.
Lisa delivered a nail-biting finish in the 50 Backstroke to secure 3rd π₯ in 30.36.
Bryce dominated the 50 Backstroke heats, breaking his own record from Monday and lowering it by 0.22 seconds to an impressive 25.69. He went on to win the final, just outside his heat time, before backing up again in the 100 Freestyle final to finish 5th.
With one day of competition remaining, 4 of our 5 swimmers will be involved in the freestyle relays β more medals could still be on the way! π₯

Another fantastic day for our FAST swimmers in Melbourne! ππ What a day of close finishes, PBs, medals and record-breaking performances! ππ₯
π Taylor Wann led the way with an amazing finish to claim π₯ 3rd in the 50m Freestyle in a new PB of 24.69! What a swim! π
πͺ Bryce Krause had a tough 50m Freestyle, just missing the medals by 0.09 seconds to finish 5th. He bounced back in style, taking π₯ 1st in the 100m Backstroke in an incredibly close finish, with just 0.24 seconds separating the top three!
π₯ Tahli Wilson was also involved in another nail-biting finish, finishing 4th in the 100m Backstroke, missing the medals by just 0.05 seconds!

Lisa Richards continued her fantastic meet, claiming π₯ 3rd in the 100m Backstroke, with only 0.31 seconds separating the top three swimmers!
RELAY SUCCESS!
We had three of our FAST swimmers selected to represent Queensland in the relay teams today, and they certainly made their mark!
π₯ Mia Geise claimed 3rd in the 13β15 years Mixed Medley Relay!
π₯ Bryce Krause claimed 2nd in the 15β16 years Boys Medley Relay, breaking the 50m Backstroke record on the lead-out leg with an incredible 26.09, smashing the previous record of 26.52! π€―π₯
π₯ Bryce then went one better, claiming 1st in the 15β16 years Mixed Medley Relay and breaking the record again with a phenomenal 25.91! π
π To top it all off, Bryce helped lead the Queensland team to a School Sport Australia Record for the 15β16 years Mixed Medley Relay! What an incredible achievement! π
π₯ Tahli Wilson also claimed 1st in the 17β19 years Girls Medley Relay, before finishing 5th in the 17β19 years Mixed Medley Relay!

What an incredible first day for our swimmers! We are so proud of the amazing results, personal bests and determination shown in the pool today. π
π₯ Lisa Richards β 4th in the 200m Backstroke in 2:22.06, then π₯ 3rd in the 200m IM with a HUGE new PB of 2:24.60, dropping an incredible 3.33 seconds!
π₯ Mia Geise β 2nd in the 100m Breaststroke with a new PB of 1:32.79, dropping an amazing 3.39 seconds! She then backed it up with an 8th-place finish in the 50m Butterfly.
