Port Central - Two Tribes

What a fantastic 1st training session for 2026. Our next event will be PanPacs 2026 and then onto Japan for World Masters May 2027. Following are some words from the witty Brendan - Shiny happy people, holding hands… A new season of Two Tribes is upon us. With lots of new faces and some tired old faces (I’m looking at you Bad Cop), we arranged ourselves according to birth month and uncomfortably determined when we were conceived by our parents. And when other people were conceived. And who conceived of this idea. Then the most shambolic warmup in the history of warmups came and went, with every month-group coming up with squats as their exercise. Sadly no opposite direction arm swings were in evidence. Weak.
Good Cop assembled us according to common attributes. Naturally the most beautiful people were paired up. The remainder, like the last kid picked for school sports, invented common traits like similar length eyelashes or identical elbows or something. Sadly for Paul, he got Bad Cop.
Some thrashing around happened. Water was dispersed in various directions. A dolphin appeared. Our Central Coast brethren and sistren oohed and aahed. Bad Cop grumbled like Blackboard on Mr Squiggle.
Yellow boat dominated. Red boat floundered. Or was it the other way around? It depends what boat you were sitting in.
To summarise today’s session, I’d like to quote the wrestler Mr Wonderful, Paul Orndorff. “You have to realise in this life and in your life that timing is everything”.
To summarise the summary - Our timing was exquisite.

March 2026 we will begin our training for Pan Pacs 🥳

What an absolutely perfect day out on the water for some Aus Masters training. Loving the effort from our Tribe today, pushed themselves hard. BTW, happy birthday Annie O 🥳
