Two weeks ago, Corner Pin Standings Director Tyson Jones shared a final thank you to everyone who played a part in Struddys ANC26. Now, as our ANC content and our time hosting the event officially comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to shine the spotlight back on Tyson.

For the past three years, Tyson has poured an incredible amount of himself into ANC. From the Gold Coast in 2024 to two huge years on the Sunshine Coast, he played a huge part in shaping the direction of the event and what ANC became during that time.

What people saw across those three years was the finished product. What they didn’t always see were the endless hours behind the scenes, the planning, the problem solving, the late nights, the pressure, the constant phone calls and the hundreds of little things that had to come together to make something of this scale happen.

ANC continued to grow into something really special for the bowling community. It created opportunities, brought people together, gave our sport something different and created memories that so many of us will carry for a very long time. Tyson believed in what the event could be, and he kept pushing to make every edition he was part of bigger and better than the one before.

Of course, nobody takes on something like this completely alone. A very special thank you also goes to the close circle of family and friends around Tyson who backed him through it all, helped him through the hard days and played their own part in turning his ideas into reality. You know exactly who you are.

On behalf of everyone at Corner Pin Standings, Tyson, thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices, the passion, the belief and everything you gave to ANC over the past three years. We are incredibly proud of what was developed throughout this chapter, and grateful that we got to be part of the journey with you.

Across 18 days of Struddys ANC26, no one bowled more games than these two 👏🏻

Julian Dinham finished as the most bowled male of the ANC with 96 games across the Logan City Wolves and Regional Renegades, while Brianna Walsh topped the female count with 94 games for the Ballina Bullfrogs.

Both competed through the entire Junior and Adult weeks at Suncity Tenpin, and both made the Top 20 19-game match play stage of the Ultimate Tenpin Cup in each week, making them the only juniors to do so.

The game totals are impressive enough on their own, but what stood out even more was the level they were still bowling at late in the event. After days and days on the lanes, neither looked like they were fading. If anything, they seemed to keep getting better.

And that’s before you add in the four practice sessions that aren’t included in those totals!!

A massive round of applause for Julian and Brianna, and also for every junior who took on both weeks of ANC26. Backing up from the Junior competition into the Adult week was a huge effort in itself 💪
