It is with deep regret that I am posting to let you know that Thursdays class will be the last Boogie Bounce class. Due to lack of numbers it was unsustainable.

However we will be going out with a bang as this week it is our instructor Stacey's birthday week. Join us for bounce and cake on both Tuesday and Thursday night.

Remember as a kid, the fun you had jumping on the trampoline? Soooo… much fun right? But after a couple of kids and life in general, there is no way you will get on a mini-tramp?

Well! Then it’s time to let you in on a little secret. Rebounding actually helps you build your pelvic floor strength. Yup, you heard me right, you can jump your way to a healthier and happier down-there region.

Bet that's going to have your brain and you bouncing off the walls! Yup! Definitely talking about rebounding on a mini trampoline - it really is the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Now, I know what you're thinking. "I have had kids and it is to be expected. It is natural?" AHHHH….. HELL NO! We all know your pelvic floor muscles are responsible for keeping everything in place down there and working right. And who doesn't want that. And don't get me started about what happens when you sneeze or laugh - once again - NOPE! - NOT NATURAL! (Ok some of us may have issues related to prolapse and not just weak PF - so if thats the case then rebounding is not for you) But if you want to be more confident, you need to make your pelvic floor strong and healthy again.

But here's the thing, Kegel exercises can be a real snoozefest (and many do them wrong, do too many – all of which will not correct the issue). That's where rebounding comes in! It's like doing Kegels on steroids. Not only will you be getting a great workout, but you'll also be laughing your butt off as you bounce around like a maniac on a mini trampoline.

And let's not forget about all the other benefits of rebounding. You'll improve your balance, coordination, and lymphatic circulation. Plus, it's a low-impact exercise, so you can bounce your way to better health without putting too much stress on your joints.

You just need to start slow. No high tucks and splits for a bit and big bounces may be a no-no. But if you have weak pelvic floor muscles – then bouncing will get you great results in a short space of time - if you persevere with it. (I would also recommend having a chat to your local pelvic floor physio - they can give you heaps of hints and tips on how to improve your particular situation quickly - Check out PhysioVida if you don't currently have a pelvic floor physio)

How inspiring to see. Lester is 76. You are never to old to bounce!

The most inspiring thing you will see this week….
Laurie undertaking his Boogie Bounce INSTRUCTOR course at 76 years young!! Laurie kept up easily with the younger ones (Paul, Maddy & Estelle) today and we are in awe of his fitness.

Congratulations guys! Echuca, you are in great hands with this lot 👌

We would love to wish our Instructor, Mara Gomes all the best with her new adventures - she is travelling today to her new city and job. I know all those who know Mara will be wishing her all the best today as well :)
But as we farewelled Mara, we welcome our new Instructor Stacey Pickles . She was a bit excited to receive this last night - after a long haul early last week to get all her assessments in. :D

Unfortunately though, Stacey has been really ill the past week or so and so there will be no classes Thursday night nor Saturday morning. But please welcome her. Come and join her next week. Slight change of class times for Thursday nights for the next couple of weeks as she wraps up some other committments - so Thursday nights will be moved to 6.35pm for the next 2 weeks.

So please welcome Stacey.

I know you will have a tonne of fun with Stacey as well guys.
