KA is excited to announce the Kite Foil Series calendar for the 2023/2024 season.

💨 We prepared an exciting line-up of events with the Croc Classic in Townsville coming up in June.

🗓 REGISTER NOW for the Australian National Kite Foil Championship in Botany Bay, Sydney, on the 11-15th of December.

🏄‍♀️Find and enroll into your local state titles, come to share the stoke, shred together on the water and meet the community of like-minded water sports addicts. As usual, there will be some sick prizes up for grabs.

Free Kiteboarding Lessons!!
This is your chance to start learning how to kite. We have 6 spots for beginner learn to kite lessons in Townsville. You will be taught by new instructors doing the Kiteboarding Australia Instructor Course. You must be available both Monday and Tuesday (18th and 19th) of July from 1:30pm to 5pm. Kites and gear will be provided, you will just need appropriate clothing for being out in the sun and in the water.

We had an epic weekend of racing here in Townsville for the Croc Classic (although the post is a few weeks late). But checkout the results below and some awesome photos by Peter Campbell!

The Croc Classic is on again this year!

We have had a date change to the 24th - 26th of June 2022 due no accommodation availability over on the Townsville Show Day long weekend.

We look forward to seeing you there and hope that changing the date will make the regatta more affordable and accessible for all competitors.

For those who haven’t heard about this regatta before:
The Croc Classic is a kitefoil regatta run every year in Townsville during the winter season. Our aim is to have some great Kitefoil racing in the sunny weather Townsville has to offer at this time of year! There is an open racing division, and a freeride gear division. We have six races scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The next stop of the National Kite Foil Series is set for Townsville on the 3rd and 4th of July.

In the lead up to the event - there are plans for a two day Kite Foil pre race clinic on the 30 June - 1 July. This is a great opportunity to get your race ready skills in tune for the race.

And for those who are still looking to further their skills on the Kite Foil, including learning tack or gybe and generally polishing your kite foil skills. We are taking expressions of interest for a clinic on the 29th of June.

This is an amazing opportunity for a winter escape where you can improve your kite foiling skills, develop your racing knowledge & take part in some exciting racing with a great bunch of people.
