We are incredibly proud of Amity, who was selected in the 10–12 Years Northern School Girls Cricket Team! 🌟

Amity is representing the Northern region this week at the School Sport Queensland Championships on the Sunshine Coast — what an incredible opportunity and achievement! 👏🏏

We love seeing our young Westies taking their cricket to the next level, and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, commitment and talent that has earned Amity this selection. 💙

⭐️ So far Amity has hit some steady runs, bowled tidy overs and took a catch!

What started as a big project for our club is now very close to completion, and we can’t wait to see our cricket community making the most of these fantastic new facilities.

Round 2 saw First, Second & Third Grade back in action, while Fourth Grade got their season underway — and there was plenty to celebrate across the club!

A dominant all-round performance! Wests batted out their overs to post 7/181 before rolling Wanderers for just 75.

Shane Turner grabbed the final two wickets while also taking two catches. Young gun Carter Hague chipped in with a wicket and some sharp work in the field with two catches.
