Yesterday Weir State School came together to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2025— a time to honour the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Students participated in Spear throwing, Ochre painting, traditional games and Traditional artifacts, learning more about the rich cultures that shape our community. It was a day filled with colour, music, and reflection, reminding us all of the importance of this year’s NAIDOC theme: Next Generation Strength, Vision and Legacy.
