The plot thickens.
The party vanquish the banshee and face off against a group of 7 giant spiders in a suprise attack that almost claims the life of a couple of party members. But when the dust settles the party stands victorious once again.

Having cleared the abandoned dwarven fortress of axeholm of any perceivable threats the hero's return to phandalin and recieve their due reward from the townmaster. Spending a night in a warm comfortable bed after days of tracking through the wilderness a welcome reprieve.

Meanwhile mithras heads to the miners exchange in an attempt to convince Halia Thornton of his loyalty and gain her trust. She reveals to him her plans to deal with the dragon herself and offer mithras a choice.

And good times were had by all this weeks session. Tonight we got to find out what would happen to Mithras as he made a pact with an archfey who identified himself only as hyrsam. Thanks Nathan for allowing me to change your character class for the sake of the story.

Skin of bark and leaves for hair she turns to where Mithras lay with a heart of rage and vengeance in mind fixes him with an icy stare. "Stand aside I will do what you could not, nature's course will be corrected, your father's oath shall not be forgot". He raises his hand his palm outstretched and three rays of flame erupt. She burns to ash her soul is lost by hatred made corrupt.

Vandred and Drogg hold the line when Ankhegs ambush the party. But where did they come from and why did they attack?

The current death toll stands at, 1 manticore, 3 gnomes, a mimic, 3 ochre jellies, 2 dwarves, 25 orcs, 2 ogres, 3 ruffians and 1 elven rogue. For a total of 41 casualties, kelemvor is starting to take notice of your deeds.

Travelling to Neverwinter from Phandalin will take roughly 3 days. Another days travel by boat will take the party to the logging camp run by Harbin Westers brother Tibor Wester where the Town master has tasked the party with delivering supplies. It would take roughly 2 to 3 days by foot if they choose instead to cut straight through the woods, however without a guide the party would to find their own way.

When the players suggest they may wish to travel to Neverwinter you take that s**t seriously.

Who was the mysterious Vael character the party met on the Triboar trail? Was he a simple traveller or was there more to him than met the eye. Perhaps we will meet him again in the future and learn more about this enigmatic character. Ps this portrait is not 100 percent accurate to the character.
