Are you interested in joining our Scent Work training classes?

We are taking names down on a wait list of people who want to start training in Scent Work with our club.

You will be the first to hear about new Beginner Intakes or Beginner Workshops.

To put your name down you will need to:
1. Be a financial member
2. Email [email protected] with your name and dog's details (e.g. Age, breed and any behavioural details).

These will be passed to our Scent Work Co-ordinator to add to our contact list. You will help us shape our training program for 2027.

And just like that the 2026 COCT Track and Search season is over🐾🐾🐾🐾

The final double track and search trial of 2026 was run over the weekend. The weekend saw 5 dogs compete over the 2 trials. Both Saturday and Sunday saw 2 days tracks and 2 night tracks with wait times of 2 to 4 hours. The trial turned out to be predominantly a high level trails - the baby dog competed in TSD3 and TSD4 park level tracks with the remaining urban / street tracks of the weekend be run at TSD6 level - 2 dogs and 2 dogs running TSD9 and one going on to a TSD10 and Grand Champion.

To start it is a big thank you to our volunteers our non tracking club members who step up and out to morning muster at 0545hrs and in the evening finished at 2130hrs after tracks with a 4 hour wait and then run time🐾🐾 so to Amy, Deb, Kylie, Angelina, Vicki and Gemma and the generous going of your time thank you🩷 to all handlers consider yourselves thanked as well you all know how labour intensive both tracking and track and search are - you all also know how eager and happy our dogs are to get out there and do their tracking thing🐾
