A time of harvesting past karma has begun. This full moon aligns with powerful Saturn in Pisces. Falling in the area of the sky called Uttara Bhadrapada, the “warrior star,” this nakshatra is revered for its ability to sublimate anger into action and fear into understanding. The fortnight of Pitru Paksha will begin just after this full moon, opening a healing portal to the realm of the ancestors.

A time of harvesting past karma and ancestral healing is beginning. The Full Moon of September 26 @2:49 pm falls at the beginning of spring equinox This full moon also brings a special dose of timeless wisdom as it aligns with powerful Saturn in Pisces.
According to Vedic Astrology, this full moon falls in the area of the sky called Uttara Bhadrapada. Found within the sign of Pisces, Bhadra means “blessed,” and pada means “feet,” symbols of humility and devotion.
Uttara Bhadrapada is called the “warrior star” and is revered for its fierce ability to sublimate frustration and anger into clarity and action. A deep-sea serpent (naga) called Ahirbudhnya swims in this part of Pisces. representing the power of nature to transform and regenerate.
Lord of time and karmic debts, Saturn is at peak luminosity now, as it aligns with the full moon and opposes the Sun. Saturn is at its most visible phase of its retrograde cycle and can be seen high and bright in the night sky for weeks to come.
With this strong influence of Saturn, there is no cutting corners. Delays, extra work, or the need to redo something may be especially noticeable at this time, as retrograde Saturn brings us back to what is not working until it is corrected, strengthened, and refined. Saturn rewards patience, discipline, maturity, and the willingness to accept change.
The waning lunar fortnight of Pitru Paksha begins just after this full moon and opens a spiritual portal to the ancestors. These sacred two weeks are devoted to making offerings that nourish and honor departed souls. You can use this time to create an altar with photographs of departed loved ones, offer candles, flowers, or incense, or make a donation in a loved one’s name. Pitru Paksha begins on Sept 27 and ends on Oct 10/11 2026
The evening star, Venus, is also very bright as it turns retrograde on October 3, igniting a special cycle for healing of broken hearts and wounds around trust, love, and boundaries. This powerful Venus retrograde will coincide with the auspicious Hindu holiday of Navratri, the nine nights of the goddess, which celebrates the protective, nourishing, and transformative power of the Divine Mother.

At first glance, this looks like a small forest.

It isn't.

The enormous patch of green in Pirangi do Norte, Brazil, belongs to one cashew tree.

Known as the Cajueiro de Pirangi, it is recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest cashew tree, spreading across roughly 8,500 square meters.

That is roughly the footprint of 70 ordinary cashew trees.

But its size is not just the result of age.

The tree has an unusual mutation that causes several of its branches to behave differently from normal cashew branches.

When those branches grow outward and eventually touch the ground, they can put down new roots.

Those rooted branches then become secondary trunks.

They grow outward again.

Touch the ground again.

Root again.

And over generations of growth, one tree starts looking like an entire grove.

Some of its branches extend around 50 meters from the central trunk, while the whole tree has a perimeter of roughly 500 meters.

And it still produces cashews.

Municipal records have reported harvests of around 70,000 to 80,000 fruits in productive seasons, adding up to roughly 2.5 tonnes.

Local tradition says the tree was planted in 1888 by a fisherman named Luís Inácio de Oliveira, although Guinness treats that origin story as traditional rather than definitively established.

More than a century later, the tree has grown so large that officials have had to discuss pruning and management simply to keep its continued expansion compatible with nearby roads and public access.

One trunk became many.

One tree became something that looks like a forest.

A beekeeper skipped one step and his bees built something no architect would dare to draw.

He forgot to fit the frame back in while reassembling his hive. No guide. No straight lines to follow.

So the bees improvised.

What they made looks like a maze, with walls of comb curling and looping through the box in every direction. And it's not chaos. They shaped the whole thing to maximize airflow through the hive.

Thousands of tiny insects, zero blueprint, and they still engineered their own ventilation system.

Humans need a contractor and three permits for that.
