8-weeks cricket competitions for girls new to the sport and the experienced alike, with offerings of Blue (beginners) and Gold (experienced) divisions.

Both comps are for girls aged 9-14. Blue - Tuesdays 5.30pm-7.45pm @ Riverway Oval or The Green, North Shore - starts October 20

More Info:
Blast Cricket: Club-based one-hour after-school program for boys and girls aged 5-8 years (check individual clubs for which weekday). A fun-first program designed for kids new to the sport to learn through exciting activities and modified games. It’s all about smiles, high-fives and building a love for cricket. Participants receive a Blast shirt, hat, bat and ball as part of registration.

Junior Smash Series: A modified cricket competition for boys and girls aged 8-10. Played with a rubber ball, so no protective equipment required. Everyone gets to bat, to bowl and field in every position in a fast-paced (75 minutes), super-fun format played at Endeavour Park (Annandale) on Friday afternoons from 4.45pm. Most clubs also hold a training session during the week. All playing equipment provided. Participants receive a club playing shirt as part of registration.

Our Barra girls and boys are still making waves during the off-season. Mackenzie and Charlie were selected in the 10-12 year old NQ school girls team with Salina selected as a shadow player. Not to be outdone, Madden, Tallen and Colton were also recently selected in the 10-12 year old Townsville school boys team. Well done to our junior reps and those who also trialed.
