Our club is growing!

This season we’ve welcomed new Lasers from Willow and Kamryn, along with Ian’s Aeros joining our regular fleets. We’ve also seen the return of Pablo’s catamaran — and of course the surge in foiling wing craft making their mark on the water.

Last Sunday, two Weta trimarans joined the fleet as well. Congratulations to Paul and Ben on their new boats — we’re looking forward to seeing these out on the course as regulars.

A great morning on the water for our Tackers sailors last Saturday. Plenty of smiles, growing confidence, and steady progress as everyone worked through their on‑water skills.

Our Outthere Tuesday Teens got into some close quarters training this week. Refreshing them on the rules of sailing as well as controlling the boat going around marks when tacking or gybing. It's so amazing to see the progress of this group in just 3 weeks!

Wind was up, the spray was flying, and our sailors still hit the water with absolute determination.
Even with plenty of capsizes throughout the day, the grit and enthusiasm on display showed just how much our club community loves sailing and embraces every challenge it throws at us.
Even more so our volunteers who were out on the water ensuring everyone stayed safe in those conditions!

Another Tackers Saturday! Our sailors headed out in some pretty windy conditions and smashed it. Tackers 1 worked on nailing their tacks, while Tackers 2 and 3 took on downwind sailing and learned where to position themselves in the boat for balance and speed.
Huge effort from everyone — windy days build confident sailors.

Some of these sailors being our very own! Hopefully we get to see them competing in the Olympics on our shores!
