💚💙 CELEBRATING OUR PHOENIX SENIORS 💙💚

Two Friday nights ago, we came together at the Metropole Hotel to celebrate another fantastic season for our Phoenix senior teams, and what a night it was! 🏐✨

With a great turnout and plenty of celebrations continuing well into the night, it was wonderful to recognise the commitment, achievements and friendships that make our senior community so special.

Congratulations to all of our players and award recipients. Whether you took home an award or simply gave your all throughout the season, we are incredibly proud of the way you represented Phoenix both on and off the court.

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors for your continued support throughout the season. Your contribution plays such an important role in helping our club provide opportunities for our players and teams.

To our coaches and managers, thank you for the time, energy and dedication you give so generously. To our umpires, thank you for your commitment to our game each week. And to every player who pulled on the Phoenix colours this season, thank you for the passion, spirit and camaraderie you bring to our club.

It was the perfect way to celebrate a wonderful season together.

Here’s to our Phoenix senior family, and to making more memories in 2027! 💚💙

Love netball? There’s more than one way to make your mark on the court! 🏐

Phoenix is welcoming expressions of interest from new and experienced umpires to join our club in 2027.

For more than 20 years, Phoenix has brought players, coaches and families together through a shared love of netball. Sportsmanship, club spirit, striving for excellence and fun are at the heart of our club, and our umpires play an important part in bringing those values to life.

Why umpire with Phoenix?
💚 Build skills beyond the court. Umpiring is an opportunity to develop your confidence, communication, decision-making and leadership while deepening your understanding of the game.
💙 Stay connected to the sport you love. Whether you’re already playing, returning to netball or keen to get involved in a different way, umpiring offers a rewarding perspective on the action.
💚 Be part of a community that values you. Our umpires are an important part of the Phoenix family. Your time, commitment and contribution help make every season possible.

Whether you’re an experienced umpire ready for another season or curious about picking up a whistle for the first time, we’d love to hear from you.

Every game needs a whistle. Every umpire makes a difference. 💚💙

After a season of training nights, game day nerves and giving your all, it’s okay to slow down. The off-season is a chance to enjoy time with family and friends, make room for other things you love and take a breather.

To our players, coaches, managers, umpires and volunteers: thank you for everything you’ve put into the season. Enjoy this time to recharge, there’s nothing you need to prove by never taking a break. 💚💙

Behind every player who finds their confidence, develops a new skill or discovers a love of netball, there’s a coach making a difference. Could that coach be you? 🏐

From humble beginnings with just two teams, Phoenix has grown into Townsville’s largest netball club. For more than 20 years, we’ve brought players, coaches and families together through a shared love of the game, with sportsmanship, club spirit, striving for excellence and fun at the heart of what we do.

We’re inviting passionate coaches to be part of our next chapter in 2027!

Why coach at Phoenix?

💚 Make a meaningful impact. Help players grow in skill and confidence, build friendships and discover what they’re capable of, on and off the court.

💙 Share your passion at different stages of the game. With junior and senior teams, our club brings together players of different ages, abilities and ambitions, from developing the basics to striving for their next challenge.

💚 Belong to a proud club community. Join dedicated coaches, managers, umpires, volunteers and families who contribute so much to our players’ experience. We celebrate the effort, progress and teamwork behind the results.

Whether you’re an experienced coach, a player ready to give back or someone keen to begin your coaching journey, we’d love to hear from you.

📩 email [email protected] to express your interest in coaching with Phoenix in 2027.

Your next season could make a lasting difference to someone else’s. 💚💙

💚💙 WHAT A GRAND FINAL DAY, PHOENIX! 💙💚
What an incredible way to finish the 2026 season.
We had 9 Phoenix teams take the court on Grand Final Day, 8 junior teams and 1 senior team, and we could not be prouder of the way every player represented our club.

A huge congratulations to our Grand Final Runners-Up:
💚 U12 Phyrestorm
💙 U12 Fireworks
💚 U15 Phyrestars
💙 U15 Phyrespirits
💚 U18 Phyrebirds

And an enormous congratulations to our 2026 CHAMPIONS 🥇🔥
🏆 U12 League Phyresparks
🏆 U15 Div 6 Fury
🏆 U18 Div 1 Phyrecrackers
🏆 Senior Div 2 Fahrenheit

Four Premierships. Nine Grand Final teams. One incredibly proud club. 💚💙
But Grand Final Day is only one part of the story.

To every Phoenix team who represented our club throughout the season, thank you for an outstanding 2026. Whether your season finished during fixtures, finals, preliminary finals or on Grand Final Day, you should be incredibly proud of what you achieved together.

To our Preliminary Final teams, congratulations on making it so deep into the finals series. Reaching that stage is an achievement in itself and reflects the work, commitment and consistency shown throughout the season.

To our wonderful coaches and managers, thank you for the countless hours, encouragement, organisation, guidance and care you have given our players. Our teams simply could not do what they do without you.

And to our loyal Phoenix supporters, you were AMAZING. 💚💙

Seeing our sidelines filled with green and blue, parents dressed up, supporter signs held high and so many people loudly and proudly cheering on our teams made Grand Final Day even more special. That support means more to our players than you know.
It takes an entire club community to create a season like this, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.

To every player, coach, manager, umpire, volunteer, parent, family member and supporter, thank you for another unforgettable season.

We are so proud of where Phoenix Netball continues to go, but even prouder of the people who make this club what it is.

One club. One family. One mighty Phoenix. 💚💙🔥

Congratulations, Phoenix what a season! 🏐
