Coach Chris Hanson:
Chris is an experienced and qualified Bronze licence Coach with a extensive background in swimming and has spent the last 2 yrs being mentored by a Silver licence performance coach. ( Garry Hanson)
He is extremely passionate about encouraging and developing young swimmers. Chris is approachable, enthusiastic, passionate and highly motivated. He is able to develop a strong rapport with swimmers and their families. He aims to develop young, up and coming swimmers’ capabilities beyond basic aquatic skills with a focus on improving stroke efficiency, technique, strength, conditioning and preparing young swimmers to compete at race meets. Chris comes from a competitive swimming background; his experience not only as a swimmer, but as a parent of a young swimmer, and as a coach is invaluable to the Club.
