A little behind on sharing, but a huge shout out to Senpai Craig and Senpai Rodney, who represented Townsville Kyokushin Karate at the National Training Camp at Tallebudgera a couple of weeks ago.

There is always something to learn, no matter your grade. Training alongside karateka from across Australia is an opportunity to challenge yourself, refine your skills, and bring new knowledge back to the dojo.

Thank you both for your commitment to your own development and for continuing to inspire our students. Osu!

On this day, we take a moment to honour Sosai Mas Oyama, the founder of Kyokushin Karate.

His unwavering discipline, strength of spirit, and commitment to seeking truth through rigorous training continue to shape the way we practise today.

The spirit of Osu lives not just in words, but in how we show up, persevere, and support one another.

At Townsville Kyokushin Karate, we carry his legacy forward each time we step onto the dojo floor.
