LEG 4 – MIKE CARNEY MEMORIAL Q TOUR NORTH

The Mike Carney Memorial Q Tour North rolled into Go Bowling Cairns this weekend for Leg 4 of the tour and our always-challenging Dual Pattern Tournament, proudly sponsored by the Mike Carney Group.

A full field of 48 bowlers took to the lanes, with two very different patterns testing everyone’s versatility, patience and ability to adapt throughout the weekend.

After all was said and done, Connor Raines came away with the victory, with Luke Doyle finishing runner-up and last year’s champion, Blake Walsh, rounding out the podium.

It is now a massive few weeks ahead at ANC26 for the Cornerpins family before the Mike Carney Memorial Q Tour North heads to Atherton on 3–4 October. Keep an eye out for the entry forms, which will be released soon.

Safe travels to everyone heading home, and we will see many of you at ANC26 in two weeks.

The first 18 doubles pairings in A Squad have completed their 8-game qualifying block, with B Squad now taking to the lanes at Mackay Leisure Centre.
