I did a thing. Finally!
We picked up this beauty over the weekend from the loveliest local potter who is heading back to the mainland.
Meet Nattie — the newest (and hottest) addition to the studio.
This has been on my list for such a long time, and having my own kiln feels like such a milestone as potter — Here’s to small beginnings, big plans, and a lot of muddy hands ahead.

Well the time finally come. I’m thrilled to announce that my new pottery studio is finally complete!!!
There has been so much behind the scenes work and planning. Michael has been such a driving force in this project turning a dank little room under the stairs to a beautiful usable and lovely space. He has done such an amazing job and for this I am infinitely grateful.
I have a few little bits and bobs to finish off the space to make it functional, drying slabs, shelving, door k**b etc. Oh and I still have to arrange the kiln in the coming months.
I can’t wait to dive into this new space and start creating. I have some exciting new projects in mind, inspired by my new home, that I can’t wait to develop. Yay!!! Ceesmithpottery TAS 💚 is officially up and running!!

One week today. We starting the long journey south the apple isle!!
I'm feeling a mix of nerves and excitement as we prepare for this big move. It's hard to believe that the time has finally come. My mom has flown in to help with the pack up and Michael’s family are also digging in deep! There's so much to do and so many goodbyes to say!!

I have a news that I have been keeping close for a while now, albeit a very poorly kept secret. I am finally ready to share it with all of my instagram followers.
It is with a mix of excitement and sadness that next month we move from the wonderful city of Townsville to Tasmania!!!
Nearly 20 years of my life have been spent in this community, surrounded by loving friends and family who have enriched my life in countless ways. I will forever be grateful for my time here and the memories I have made.
Townsville has been a pivotal part of my pottery journey. I was able to learn and grow as a potter with the amazing creatives at and I will always be thankful for the opportunities and friendships made at the club. You all know who you are 😘
Leaving this place that has been my home for so long is not going to be easy, but I am excited for the new adventures that await me in Tasmania. I am eager to explore the stunning landscapes and see what new inspiration and creations come from this next chapter in my life.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey. Your encouragement and love means the world to me. I will always cherish the memories we have made.
Here's to new beginnings and a lifetime of creativity - join me over the next few weeks as I wrap up the studio and hit the road. The adventure and pottery to be continued…..

After a much needed hiatus, I am back. Back in Qld, back at work, and back on the wheel. I’ll have stock on the website this weekend, including stock I delisted (so I could go on holiday). I have some exciting designs for 2023 I’m looking forward to launching and would love a little feedback…
