It's more than a motto, it's been in the blood of all Sharkies since
The Townsville Sharks Touch Football Club was formed in 1974 and during the winter months, the club competes in competitions organised by the Townsville Castle Hill Touch Association (TCHTA). The primary competition run by TCHTA is the "Mens and Women's Open Competition" which is run on Sunday afternoons at Queens Park in the suburb of North Ward from February until August. Club members take great pride in their on-field performances as well as in their many social functions and activities.

Our Sharks uniforms have arrived! 🎉
Unfortunately, the uniforms will NOT be available for purchase tonight.
Uniform sales will be available this Sunday, 6 September 2026, during the following times only:
🕗 8:00am – 10:00am
🕑 2:00pm – 3:00pm
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience while we waited for the uniforms to arrive.

Are your kids looking for some more touch football practice? We have a Queensland Touch Football Discovery & Development Academy coming to Townsville on the 12th of September 2026!
🟢 Discovery Academy (Ages 6–11) | 9:00am – 10:30am
Kids will have fun exploring the game of touch football in a supportive and engaging environment.
🔵 Development Academy (Ages 11–16) | 11:00am – 12:30pm
Kids will build on their skills and learn key techniques to take their game to the next level.
All registered participants will receive a QTF Academy Cap - whether your child is just starting out or looking to sharpen their skills, this academy offers something for everyone!
