🏁 Australian Kart Championship RD 3 - Townsville Kart Club ... What a Weekend. 🏁

It's hard to put four days like that into words.

The Australian Kart Championship is the highest level of karting in the country, and every single driver who rolled under the TKC Team walked away a better racer than when they arrived.

Some were experiencing their very first AKC. Others have been here before. And for all, the pursuit of being the very best never stops.

A huge thank you to Brian Flynn , Ash O'Neill and Brayden Vincent, who gave absolutely everything across the weekend. Coaching, mentoring, wrenching, calming nerves, celebrating the wins and picking everyone back up after the tough moments. That's what a team is all about. As well as to Liana Lennox for running the Shop, to keep everyone sorted!

Did the results always reflect the speed? No.

But anyone who was watching knows what we saw.

Purple sectors. Fastest laps. Huge gains. Drivers finding confidence, taking steps forward and proving they belong on the national stage. Sometimes motorsport is cruel, but that's also what keeps us coming back.

We're not chasing shortcuts.

We're building drivers.

Drivers who learn, adapt, work hard and keep showing up. Because that's what creates success in the long run.

🏁 TKC Bundaberg Kart Club SHAKEDOWN WRAP-UP 🏁

What a weekend for Team TKC!

We made the trip down to Bundaberg for the Queensland Titles Shakedown and were greeted with a bit of everything — rain, fog, cold mornings and sunshine. The team took it all in their stride, adapting to changing conditions and continuing to improve every time they hit the track.

A huge congratulations to our podium finishers:

🥇 Jack Larsen Racing – KA2
An awesome comeback drive after being shuffled backwards early from P2, fighting his way back through the field to take the win.

🥈 Jax Fuller Jax 44 - The Journey – Cadet 12
A hard-charging drive through the final after being sent backwards early, showing great determination and race craft to secure P2.

🥉 Chevy Thomson – KA3 Junior Heavy
Another fantastic performance from Chevy, driving forward throughout the weekend to secure a well-earned podium finish.

🔥 In KA3 Junior Light, Chevy's weekend was a true display of grit and determination. Caught up in a lap one incident in the final, he somehow managed to continue driving with a severely bent steering column and tie rod, battling through to the chequered flag despite the damage.

🔥 Harper May was right on the pace in KA3 Junior Light, punching out some of the fastest laps of the weekend and showing excellent speed in the wet conditions.

📈 Personal Bests in the Final!

🔥 Arlo King – Continues to build confidence and speed every time he hits the track. A PB in the final was the perfect way to cap off a strong weekend.

🔥 Charlie Pedersen – Another driver making big gains. Charlie kept improving every session and delivered his fastest lap when it mattered most.

🔥 Cruz Thomson – One of his strongest weekends yet. Consistent improvements all event saw him finish the weekend with a new PB and plenty of momentum heading into the Queensland Titles.

Unfortunately, technical and on-track dramas brought an early end to the weekends of Pearce Hahn Racing and Dylan Dunston in KA3 Senior, but that's motorsport. Sometimes the results don't tell the full story, and both drivers showed promising speed throughout the weekend.

This is exactly what TKC is all about — not just trophies and podiums, but drivers continually improving, building confidence, overcoming challenges and becoming better racers every time they hit the track.

As always cannot thank the coaching team enough, with Brian Flynn, Luke Flynn and Luke Nolan coming down and supporting the drivers! And to Brett Samuelsson and Kylie Mitchell for looking after us on the trip down and back!

The Queensland Titles are only a few weeks away, and after a weekend like this, we're excited for what's ahead! 💪🏁
