One of the biggest challenges with exercise isn't knowing what to do, it's getting into the habit of doing it consistently.

This is one of the reasons structured classes can be so helpful. When sessions are already scheduled into your week, the decision making is taken out of it.

You just show up, move your body and keep the routine going....so that you can reap the benefits!

Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to be big or dramatic. It might be a workout, a walk, an early night, or just ten minutes where no one needs anything from you.

Did you know Reformer Pilates was built on the idea of resistance training, not rest? Joseph Pilates designed the precursor to the original equipment during World War I to help people rebuild strength and movement when high-impact exercise wasn’t an option. The springs weren’t there to make it “easier”, they were there to make it effective. That same concept is why Reformer Pilates still challenges your muscles in a very real way today.

POV you opened a pilates studio and it became so much more than a workout space đŸ„°

It became the place people came into unsure and left feeling more confident in their bodies. It's the chats before and after class. Some days the room feels calm and grounded, others its shaky legs and deep breaths. Either way every class feels like people choosing themselves for 50 mins!
