Harry is going up against serious world class talent at his first time nationals, so we are hoping to stay in the mix and chase some comp PBs 💪🏻

🥉 PLACE AUSTRALIAN SUB-JUNIOR 84+kg NATIONALS

🔥 An absolute tremendous day of lifting for Hat yesterday, putting together her best competition performance at her first appearance on the national stage.

Hat didn’t put a foot wrong and executed a 9/9 day, hitting a PB on every lift. Hat had to overcome significant knee issues two months out from comp, as well as a scare two days out, but it all came together for her on the day.

Squat 142.5kg (+7.5kg)
Bench 80kg (+12.5kg)
Deadlift 147.5kg (+15kg)
Total 370kg (+35kg)
Up from last year’s APA qualifiers.

The Heavy Metals community are so proud of Hat’s hard work and effort and we look forward to seeing Hat push on to future goals and competitions.

💪🏻 Well done Hat, for now it’s time to enjoy the hard earned rest.

🔥 Hat will be hitting the platform at 8:30am in the second flight, so you can expect to see her first squat somewhere around 9am!

It’s a big step for Hat in her Powerlifting career to compete at the highest level and we cannot wait to see her smash it 💪🏻
