Saturday morning starts with parkrun! 🏃‍♀️☀️

Because really… what else would you rather be doing at an unreasonable hour on a Saturday morning? 😂

It’s always so lovely to see our familiar faces turning up week after week. The smiles, the chats, the questionable pre-parkrun decisions… and then somehow we all do it again the following Saturday! 😆

🏅 TOWNSVILLE MARATHON FESTIVAL SHOUT-OUT!

We’d also like to take the opportunity to congratulate everyone who took part in last Sunday’s Townsville Marathon Festival. Whether you ran the marathon, half marathon, relay or one of the other events — you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏💙

Another Saturday, another reason to set the alarm ridiculously early… and once again, it was absolutely worth it! 🌅🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge welcome to everyone who joined us at North Shore parkrun this morning!

We were thrilled to welcome visitors from Newcastle, Hobart, Melbourne and Brisbane. Thank you for choosing North Shore parkrun while you were in Townsville—we hope you loved our course, our volunteers and our amazing community. Safe travels, and we’ll be waiting if you’re ever back this way! 💙

Welcome to winter parkrun… FNQ style! ❄️☀️

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate that weather? If there was ever a perfect morning for running, this was it! Blue skies, cool air, smiling faces and another fantastic Saturday at North Shore parkrun.

A big welcome to all our visitors who joined us this morning. Thank you for choosing North Shore parkrun—we hope you enjoyed our little slice of paradise and that we’ll see you again soon! 💙

To everyone who completed their very first parkrun… congratulations and welcome to the parkrun family! We hope this is the start of many Saturday mornings with us. 🎉

And to everyone who achieved a Personal Best… wow! 👏

Despite our little course detour around the footpath works, it was absolutely PB rain! 😂😂

We’re starting to think having a marshal standing in the middle of the course is the ultimate motivational tool. Maybe we should keep one there every week! 😆

As always, our biggest thank you goes to our incredible volunteers. 💜

Every clap, every cheer, every barcode scanned, every finish token handed out and every marshal on course helps make parkrun happen.
