hey guys and gals the PCYC will be closed from Friday 21st December until the 2nd January for Christmas holidays....everybody have a safe holidays and we will see you in 2013.

congrats to Ernesto Yacuda 2nd place team div, Marshall Moore 3rd place kyu div, Robert poole for the sprit award and all others who competed at this years cairns kendo cup.

thank you evertone for your support at japan day yesterday i hope you all had fun i know we did!

Mark your diaries, the Australia Japan Society Townsville is hosting Japan Festival, 21st October (Sunday) from 11.00 to 3.00 at the Museum of Tropical Queensland. Nippon Seibukan will be performing a demo, along with other martial art groups other activities include:
-Mochi-tsuki (ricecake making)
-Japanese drum, traditional and pop dancing.
-sushi, origami, Yukata dressing, and caligraphy workshops,
-tattoo and body painting,
-green tea
-bonsai
It will be a great fun day to experience Japanese culture.

Please come along (if you can make it) and support your local kendo team "NIPPON SEIBUKAN AUSTRALIA".
